The Organization of Liberians in Minnesota, founded in 1979 is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership-based organization. The organization provides social services, empowerment programs, and advocacy for nearly 25,000 Liberians residing in the State of Minnesota.
Our Mission:
To foster cooperation, understanding and development among Liberians, and the greater Minnesotan community including:

Increasing members and the per capital activity of members
•Influencing public policy and issues of concern to the Liberian
community, particularly immigration and integration
•Acquiring real estate to serve as office space and a community center
•Achieving financial stability, solvency and transparency
•Providing social services to the Liberian community through committed resources and referrals
•Providing educational services to the Liberian community relevant to personal and community development
•Improving and enhancing image and visibility with clear definition
